Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

The Devan is becoming one of my favorite styles. I love the unique shape, it sits so well on my shoulders, holds several little and is overall easy to use. I purchased the large Devan in Orchid and it is my go-to big bag. The strap length is great for even a tall lady like me (I'm 5'10") and it stays on my shoulders easily. The color is gorgeous in person and suits this style so well. 10/10 would recommend. Maybe I'll get the Classic in suede next...

For my 9/19 birthday my husband ordered (had me to) the Large Koi Devan, and after carrying it for a week , I absolutely love it ! I love it slightly more than my small Devan because I'm a bigger bag kinda girl. It not so big that it's awkward and it doesn't feel like you are carrying a suitcase. The Koi color is just so perfect for Autumn. The Koi is a fully saturated color, it's fun and sassy, but still blends well with my dresses for more serious events. It's just perfect if you love color!!

I never would've bought a bag in madrone but this C-sale beauty changed it all! The deep brown reddish color makes it a classic tote you can use for any occasion. The one pocket makes it convenient. I get a lot of compliments. I've given it as a gift!
My favorite bucket bag

This is my second large Devan bucket tote and I think it's the perfect size. The Cobalt is a great blue. The pebbling makes it soft to the touch but there is still enough structure for the bag to stand up with items in it. This is my go to when I need more space. The picture shows it with a taco, roswell, glass case, water bottle, wallet and hard cover book--and there is still room. The shape fits very comfortably against my body.

My E-W Devan is all that I could ask far! I couldn’t find any imperfections in this Almost Perfect bag. Chonky pebbles throughout and squishy enough but with sufficient structure to show off the Devan design. Has character but not anything that looks like a flaw. Love it!

The new style Devon bag is one that I really wasn’t interested in it first but when I found one on clearance at the Eagan Minnesota store, I had to have it. I bought it in cold brew and it’s a small it is perfect. It sits snuggly against my body and it’s secure, even though it does not have a zipper.
Like an art piece
This is so pretty, especially for fall! Was in PDX for a weekend and got to go to the flagship and outlet stores. Found this at the flagship. The suede is soft and slouchy and the straps are really comfortable. Definitely a great throw-and-go bag.
My 17 year old daughter did a lot of research for the perfect leather tote that would hold her 13 inch laptop for her senior year of high and behind when she goes to college. She decided on the Devan bucket tote and is obsessed with it. It has such a cute shape that holds a lot, but still seems small/not too bulky.
Perfect grab-n-go for Mom mode! I'm honestly not a fan of purses, bags, totes, etc (until I found PLG that is) but I took a chance on a nutmeg OS Devan and now it's my favorite Mom bag. It holds: two XL Make up bags (that are perfect for diapers, wipes, and extra clothes for 2 little boys), wallet, keys, journal, water bottle, snacks, and a few other odds and ends I rotate. The snap is strong and in the perfect spot to allow accessibility without losing anything. It sits on my shoulder so well I forget it. I can shove it back and carry a toddler on the same side. Can not recommend enough.
