Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I purchased the AP Convertible Crossbody Envelope in Bone and Black. The Bone shows maybe one or two little black dots on it that wouldn’t be noticed under normal use. I don’t see any imperfections with the Black. I wanted something that could hold the essentials like my phone, small wallet or cash and cards, and chapstick when I go out to holiday events. I went with the Bone and Black as classic neutral colors that could go with any outfit. The Envelope definitely delivers, holding my phone, cards, cash, chapstick, and hand lotion with room to spare. I love it! The envelope is perfectly small and exactly what I was looking for. I'm petite and at 5' short I needed something that would lay close to my side and not get in the way. This crossbody is perfect for me to take to work. I use a gigantic laptop that I use a backpack with padded straps for but wanted a more professional looking wallet/purse for taking to lunch and using after work. I can throw it in my backpack with the essentials or attach the wrist strap and/or crossbody strap for meetings and lunch. I got it in honey AP and love it. I love that both straps are detachable.
