Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!
What if I don't love my Almost Perfect bag?
Everything from our Almost Perfect collection (excluding Mystery Box bundles) falls under our usual return policy. For more detailed information, visit our Returns page.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I’m usually an Aspen girl through and through, but I decided to give the Rowan a try and I’m so glad I did! I went with the medium in Coldbrew, and it is such a beautiful, rich neutral that goes with everything.
I normally gravitate toward bags with a zipper, so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the magnetic closure, but I’ve ended up really loving how easy it is to get in and out of the bag. The medium is also the perfect everyday size for me—roomy enough to carry what I need without feeling like I’m carrying around a huge bag.
The Rowan still has that practical, easy-to-carry feel I love, but it’s different enough from my Aspens that I’m glad I added it to my collection. And Coldbrew? Definitely my favorite part. 🤎

I now have two bags in the Rowan and the mediums fit just the right amount of things. I can fit my headphone case and my 10 inch iPad in them along with some littles and I’m good to go. I can also fit my normal size bifold in there with all that stuff. The back pocket is a game changer too. I find the shape of the bag very flattering and unique.

The Rowan bag is seriously underrated. The medium is a medium-large shoulder bag and fits everything you need with room to spare. I wasn’t excited about Asheville from the color card, but once the bag arrived it was love at first sight.
