This bag was never ever on my radar until I found the perfectly chunky one in nutmeg at the outlet. Holds all the essentials without being heavy or too bulky. It holds my taco tassel, lovebug, glasses, and there’s even room to spare. The pocket inside is nice and spacious as well. Do not sleep on this bag!

I was not the biggest fan of this design when it came out but caved in when I saw a large chili red firefly on someone else and fell in love!! I'm so happy with this bag and glad I went with that gorgeous red, it makes me smile when I see it!

I love this bag so much! It’s super cute, the strap is comfortable on my shoulder, it opens nice and wide, so you can see everything that you have, but closes easily. I like to leave it open just enough to get my hand in there to get my phone in and out of the pocket. I got it in the color boreal which is just gorgeous! Mine is in the large, I am thinking of getting a smaller one too. The large is great because it fits my B6 planner among all my other regular things, so if I got a small, it would fit all my things except for the planner. In the large, the planner comes in and out easily, as well as all the other things because of the wide opening, I just think this is a great bag for me and probably for everybody! I only have one reservation, but it’s whatever/no big deal. I don’t care for the little tab on the backside to hang something. I think it’s too long if I were going to hang something. I don’t think I would hang anything anyway because it’s the backside. I may just cut it off, not sure. but at this point,I just ignore it. It doesn’t in any way make me not want another one. I definitely want more of these! 🩷

I absolutely love my firefly bucket bag! I was looking for a new daily carry that had more structure than my cloth purse and a little bit more room without being too bulky, and I think this bag hit all the marks perfectly. The opening and closing is a little stiff at first, but it has softened up with not even a week of use and holds everything beautifully and is so soft yet structured! I got a matching petunia pouch and Crossbody strap to really maximize the possibilities. I love it!

I carry a mini crossbody a lot of the time but decided to try something different. This has a very similar size profile to the mini with a different shape. The strap is fun and different but also detachable so I can change it out for a longer one and use it as a crossbody. The closure is really fun and different and I love the details on the outside. This is definitely my new favorite style!

My favorite bag
So cute in red!
I usually am not a big purse gal or a red person. This is kind of in the middle and the red is so pretty!
I had always been on the fence about bucket bags. As a woman of un certain age, I had concerns that a bucket bag would look & feel awkward & bulky against my grandmotherly generous frame. When the Firefly was introduced, I was intrigued. It had plenty of interesting details I might like-- well constructed drawstrings, a rounded shape, a wide shoulder strap, clever front tab & back flair carrier detailing. And available in many colors, especially the fetching Chili Red! I procrastinated-- many times. Twice it sold out. Two weeks ago, she was available. With a nice percentage off & a large points accumulation, it was a no brainer. I took the plunge. I chose her in the larger size, so that she could function as a knitting project tote. When she arrived (quicker than I was expecting), I was delighted. I tried her on. Wonderful! Her wider strap sits comfortably on my shoulder, & doesn't slide off. Her shape sits well on my side, just above my hip, & nestles in a bit. She is easy for me to open & close, & I won't need to worry about items falling out. I thought she'd be a knit only bag, but no-- she is going to be a frequent carry throughout my week. And now I must reconsider my concerns about bucket bags-- PLG has designed them to be flattering, comfortable, & functional. I am thrilled with Firefly, & think I may need one (or more) in an additional color! Thanks, PLG!
