Yummy Nutmeg!

This is my second medium crossbody tote, the other being in the smooth honey leather. The medium crossbody tote is pretty much my ideal handbag- big enough to carry everything I need without being too heavy. I wanted to try a pebbled leather and after looking at lots of photos and unboxing videos, settled on nutmeg. The nutmeg leather of my bag is a warm, rich brown, with subtle red and rust undertones. The pebbled leather is softer than the smooth, but still retains some structure and isn't overly slouchy. I got the zippered version which I prefer for security, and the zipper moves easily. I also got a classic leather tassel in nutmeg and its the perfect size for the medium crossbody tote. I cannot recommend this bag more highly. I am sure it won't be my last. I have three pictures of it in different light for color reference.

Some googling proved to me that Honey was a winner for developing a lovely patina. I am highly selective with my bags. The simplicity, the amount of space, and the ability to convert from handbag to crossbody makes this a great choice. Zippers lay flat which is nice. With a toddler, I can toss in a full pack of wipes and a few diapers along with my belongings (plus more.) I appreciate all kinds of bags. The next one I want is a Medium or Large Classic Full Crossbody. If only they came in more colors. FYI this medium XB fits nicely in my OS Tote. She holds her structure, without being stuffed. The leather is thick - it does scratch easily but can mostly be rubbed away. I love her!

I am obsessed with my new medium zip badlands bag! The quality is so high and the beautiful pattern is so unique and beautiful. It fits everything I need inside and it’s not too heavy. It has softened up a bit in the month I’ve carried it. I’m hooked on PLG, but will have a hard time picking anything but badlands.

It wasn't love at first sight because this bag is bigger than I want for a weekend bag, but it's perfect for traveling. I can easily fit medical equipment, my wallet, phones and few other things in this purse. I can even zip it up. No matter what, Grizzly is a beautiful color.

Such a versatile bag - looks small but it can hold everything!
This is my favorite tote from Portland Leather. It's my everyday carry, along with my small koala, which fits inside the medium crossbody like a pouch. I love that it fits my water bottle, book, coffee tumbler, meds, and other miscellaneous everyday stuff along with the small koala. It's big enough for everything, yet small and light enough not to feel burdensome. I love the handles; I use it as an elbow-carry more often than a crossbody because the handles are just so comfortable and convenient. The color is gorgeous, the leather is so soft, and it smells absolutely amazing. My coworkers laugh at me all the time, because I will randomly stick my head in the bag just to smell it. I am so beyond pleased with this purchase. I'll be carrying this bag when I'm dead.

I'm surprised how much I love my Med CB tote in Meadow. The leather is much more appealing in person than I expected, and the bag is in perfect form/shape thanks to the sturdiness of this leather. The Med CB I use only as a tote, not a handbag. I consider it to be a short tote. It's big enough to put my usual things in plus a book and a water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen or whatever and I can see inside the bag at all times to see that everything is in their proper position, i.e., the book and water bottle so that nothing--the bag or its contents--gets damaged.
