Our durable leather goods are unlined, featuring the natural suede side of the hide. Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade, making each piece uniquely yours.
Our leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Full Grain: Meticulously sourced from the finest hides, this premium material boasts unique textures and character, showcasing nature's artistry at its best. As time passes, watch as its surface develops a unique patina, telling your personal journey through the years. Unlike processed leathers, full grain leather stands the test of time, due to its unmatched strength and resilience. Its dense fibers offer exceptional resistance to wear, cuts, and moisture, our full grain leather ensures lasting beauty that only gets better with age.
Top Grain: Top-grain starts from the same premium zone of the hide but is lightly sanded and finished for a more uniform surface. That light correction softens and evens the face while keeping most of the strength you want. Takes pigment and protective finishes beautifully, which helps with colorfastness and stain resistance. Ages gracefully, especially when we keep the finish thin enough to let the leather breathe and break in.
We use top-grain when a smoother cosmetic is the goal—think color consistency across large panels—without walking away from the core strength you expect from a Portland bag.
Pebbled: Unlike most brands that use artificial stamping methods to create patterns, our pebbled leather is achieved through a natural tumbling process. The distinctive raised, pebble-shaped texture adds sophistication and makes a bold statement wherever you go. But it's not just about looks—pebbled leather is built to last. Worried about daily wear and tear? Don’t be! The unique pebbled surface ages gracefully, developing a natural patina that will evolve for years to come!
Suede: Our suede leather begins with an intricate process: the hide is split to separate the soft underside from the top layer. This top layer is then tanned, buffed, sanded, and dyed to create the signature velvety texture that defines high-quality suede. Naturally slouchy and pliable, suede leather ages gracefully, developing a rich patina that tells its own story over time. Most natural imperfections are gently smoothed away during production, while subtle traces—like healed veining and the soft, napped surface—are preserved to celebrate the leather’s unique character and charm.
Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade—making each piece uniquely yours.

Chonky & Delicious OS Naomi in Asheville
by: CP G.
I patiently waited for Asheville and I’m so glad I did. I love the oversized Naomi - it’s the perfect carry for me. The Asheville is chunky and perfectly interesting with color and texture variations. I’m in love! Free organizer fits perfectly!
LOVE!! 10/10
by: Izzy B.
Literally perfect!!!! Great for daily use and fits everything I need. The color is also sooo pretty!
Pretty Color/ Comfortable Bag
by: Diane F.
I really like this pretty and wonderful smelling bag. It is my first bag in Cobalt and my first larger one and it fits my shoulder nicely. Although some would consider the pebbles too small and "even", I think it is very nice anyway. I also have a small Boreal Naomi with a small organizer which works very well for me. I like the design and was hoping to carry this one to school. After seeing it in person, it would easily work for my thermos, lunch and to carry my Parker for outside school walks, however, it is a bit too tight for my 13.5 inch laptop when I carry it home. I also received an organizer, however, I should have ordered a large instead of a medium. Now I am looking for a bag that is bit bigger, probably with 2 handles.
The perfect size!
by: Heather K.
I was hesitant because of the lack of internal or external pocket, but the Naomi is SO popular, I decided to give it a try and see what I am missing. And I was so pleasantly surprised! I purchased the large in Asheville, and the large is THE perfect size! Big enough to hold a water bottle in the side along with my small canvas organizer. I just slip my phone between the organizer and the side of the purse and it stays put and is easily assessable! Asheville is also the perfect shade of brown. Overall so pleased I gave this purse a try!
OS Wasabi
by: Liana K.
I tried a small Naomi during a C sale and found it was too small for me. Not wanting to risk another too small bag, I next opted for the oversized Naomi in wasabi and it’s love! Wasabi in my experience has evening pebbling and a comfortably slouch to it. The green is bright and cheerful and goes with so much. I added a D ring to my strap so I could add flair. I’m normally a small bag person and wanted something that holds more. The Naomi is that without being huge like a tote, while the V shape elevates her. Very very pleased with my purchase.
Obsessed with the OS Naomi in Jackson
by: Stacy W.
Obsessed with the OS Naomi in Jackson. Last year, I had a large Bacalar and did not fall in love, but THIS! It's soft, puddly, roomy.
True Love!!
by: Amy S.
I absolutely love my Boreal large Naomi! I love the bag style and it really shows off the contrast of the boreal leather. I thought the lack of an inside pocket would be an issue, but I just added one more little to my usual assortment for my keys and it is perfect!
Beautiful Bag!!
by: Melanie M.
I love this bag! It’s beautiful. The small is a little small for me. But I wanted nutmeg (my favorite, it’s so squishy and perfectly classical brown). It was only available in the small. It fits my daily needs but can get a little crowded when running errands. But I love the design!
My favorite bag yet!
by: MADISON M.
I am a Portland Leather lover, and have a couple of different styles. My husband bought this bag for me for my birthday - and my jaw dropped when I opened it! It’s seriously STUNNING. This is the large, in Red Panda. It doesn’t have any pockets but I use little bags to organize my things anyways, so it’s not an issue. The shoulder strap fits so comfortably and securely, I have not caught myself readjusting or moving the bag back up my shoulder. The color is my favorite part - it looks so lived in and beautiful. This is my favorite bag yet!!
Perfect Bag for Fall
by: Julian M.
This is the perfect fall purse! I got a small and I’m thankful I did, but of course now I want the next size up too! It’s definitely different from other purses I have as it’s not lined nor does it have pockets but I got the canvas organizer and it manages everything I could ever want to bring. This purse is so sturdy and cute. I love it!
Great Casual Bag
by: Nicole D.
Got the large and I think it’s a great running errands bag. I’m 5’9 and 130lbs and the large hits right at the bottom of my hip and I can throw it on my shoulder without my elbow hitting the top of the bag. Anyone with long arms knows that is so annoying.
Great Around Town Bag
by: Erica F.
I love the Large Naomi bag - I ended up buying 2! One in Nutmeg and one in Coldbrew. I love that they are light weight enough, but still can hold everything that I need. I carry my wallet, sunglasses, hand lotion, chapstick, hand sanitizer, and keys. Would highly recommend! If you plan on using the canvas organizer, go with the Small. The Medium size sticks up over the edge of the "V" in the bag
Love!
by: HEATHER B.
The large plum naomi bag is perfect for fall! Not too big or too small. Fits a medium PLG bag organizer and has a strong magnetic closure. Now I want all of the colors!
Beautiful but small.
by: Jamie P.
Was hoping it was like tote size. It’s kind of small. The yellow is beautiful and soft. Just wish it was like 2x the size. I would honestly return it because o probably just wasted my money. But I threw the box and tissue paper away and they said you need to stuff it back exactly as it was to return and get a full refund. A little disappointed I didn’t measure before purchase. I’d you’re looking for something bigger shop elsewhere. If you want this size, it’s a beautiful bag.
Great little purse.
by: Lauren C.
I've been taking this thing everywhere. I love the color and the soft leather. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an inside pocket for smaller items.
Naomi Shoulder Bag
by: Dawn W.
I can’t tell you how fun this bag is! I purchased the large bag in orchid! I decided to splurge with color, and I keep finding ways to improve my old wardrobe with this wonderful pop of color. It makes me feel like a different person. Try it—you’ll love it!
Soft Emerald Gem!
by: Janice L.
I picked up this Naomi for my summer hand bag because it’s on the smaller side and will look great with all my summer dresses. My Naomi is nicely pebbled but still keeps it shape quite well. It has plenty of carrying capacity for my items but also for extra items I tend to end up “holding” for loved ones.

Beautiful! Perfect for me. I love the color and great size.
R
Love this bag! I got the oversized in Cobalt. The color is stunning and the size is perfect for that ‘everything plus the kitchen sink’ bag. I have the largest organizer and it fits perfectly and super handy since there’s not any pockets. It hangs well on the shoulder too.
M
I love the shape/ super cute and very roomy. And the color- plum is gorgeous!!
J
