Why did I walk out of my first ever PLG brick and mortar store with a perfect color, perfect everything Sally bag?? Because my bestie tried it on and I loved it so much I had to have one. She passed on it, I didn’t. I love the way it fits (as a crossbody), close but out of the way, the bright metallic blue, the size, the proportions (I’m 5’2“) and, well, I love it so much I HAD to have it! PS. I swear I heard the angels sing when I walked into the Gilbert store! For real!

The Sally Sling bag looks nothing like the photos online or even the ones shown in the reviews. It does not look or feel real, cheaply made. The zipper doesn’t function properly and won’t go around the corner, which makes it frustrating to use. The exterior looks vinyl backed with a woven fabric, which adds to the low-quality feel. I also purchased another item that was okay, but overall, this experience has been disappointing. For the price, it’s simply not worth it. I will be returning the Sally Sling bag and won’t be purchasing from Portland Leather again.

I'm like you. I saw this and thought "80s butt bag." Not for me. But I was intrigued, and I finally bit the bullet. So glad that I did. I love the way it falls, I love how much it holds, the zipper is perfection. And don't get me started on Wild Rose. I can't wait for everything to come out in this color. This was definitely a pleasant surprise!

I am in love with my Sally Sling in Plum! I was looking for a bag for daily use and this one had everything on my list. It’s roomy but not bulky, my wallet, keys, phone, and pouch for essentials all fit perfectly. It’s hands free, it’s the perfect every day style for running errands and doing all the things, but it’s stylish! The Plum is the perfect neutral, it goes with everything in my wardrobe. My other PLH bags are in Honey, which I love, but I wanted to switch it up while also staying neutral as that’s my favorite palette. Plum is it! Soooo classy. As always with any PLG product the quality of the material is amazing. And she smells so beautiful! My ONLY negative comment is, when I’m wearing her, I have a hard time seeing inside my bag when I open it up, it fits very close to the body and the shape of it makes it hard to see everything when you open it. But this is not a big deal just slightly annoying. I love all my PLG bags!

Sometimes I love a big bag to hold all the fixings...kindle, phone, wallet, eye glass case, keys, far too many lipglosses, tissues, pills, pens and Lord knows what else! Sometimes I just need my phone, a gloss and credit card. But most days, I need something in between and that is my Sally Sling Bag! So comfortable whether worn in front or back and I am very happy with her!!
This color is beautiful. Plum is a bit brighter than Larkspur. This bag has plenty of room for your essentials when you are on the go and don’t want to deal with carrying a full size bag.
I ordered the Sally Sling in Wild Rose and I am so glad I did. It’s such a beautiful, functional, fun bag. I love the color so much and the size is perfect.
